Earlier, she oversaw security services at a Financial Institution. Her work experience includes software development, analytics, security operations, incident response, and forensic analysis. She began her career as a developer building applications and systems. Based on her broad knowledge of the systems, when the need came to create a robust Patch management program that ensured the stability of the existing environment, Lysandra became the default point person for leading this.
This was the beginning of her professional career in security. As her career progressed, she built teams to solve some interesting problems. This included forming Security Monitoring, security Awareness and incident response programs for the leading Financial institution in the Dutch Caribbean Kingdom. Knowing how to code and understand technology has been a huge benefit to Lysandra when building security capabilities and leading security teams. Because of this, Lysandra is able to share a depth of knowledge from direct experience with building security programs, interacting with business leaders, and communicating with stakeholders.
