She has pioneered the largest self-funded animation focused festival- Animae Caribe- in the Caribbean for 18 years, built a formidable network of international animators who are willing and able to help the Caribbean develop, and has continued to direct the development of a cadre of Caribbean animators while encouraging the growth of female animators. She brings a culturally ‘woke’ business acumen to the creative animation industry. Convincing governments, corporate and private sector businesses to take a chance on an untested industry.
