Stacey Hines is a C-suite Executive, Strategist, Author, Speaker, Executive Coach, and current President of Jamaica’s Technology and Digital Alliance, formerly The Jamaica Computer Society; the second female president in the 45-year history of the organization. In her current corporate role, Stacey is responsible for managing the Strategic Planning Office at the ICD Group where she provides strategic transformation support to the senior management teams across multiple companies.
Stacey’s tech journey began as a 9-year-old spending nights in a New York server room with her Systems Administrator father in open-jawed amazement at the big machines. That’s when she fell in love with tech and made it her focus in her undergraduate and graduate studies. She started her tech career as a Developer, found that wasn’t her passion, and quickly moved to be a Microsoft Trainer. Her early career spans programming, training, instructional design, and quality assurance working with companies like ExecuTrain, Macy’s Systems, and Technology, and Humana.
Stacey shifted into executive leadership after becoming a Product Manager for a Jamaican tech startup. She was responsible for understanding market problems and leading multiple teams from development to delivery of global product solutions. Her work with companies spans the US, CA, UK, Europe & The Caribbean where she has supported product and strategy development resulting in over $100m USD in revenue across her portfolio. Stacey also serves as Chairman for DRT Communications, Director for Innovate 10X and as a member of First Angels Jamaica investors. Committed to service, Stacey has been active in contributing to building the digital future of Jamaica by serving on boards such as eGov and StartUp Jamaica and in her current role as President of the largest and longest-running tech professionals organization. Her desire is to secure the sustainability of the IT profession and its service providers in Jamaica and the Caribbean region.
Stacey is also the founder of Epic Transformation, a coaching and leadership development company. Her passion project is hosting her podcast “The Balanced Lady Boss Show” where she serves women with tools for bossing the boardroom, bedroom and their bliss. Stacey is the mother and full time caregiver of 3 children. She most recently published her personal photo memoir 5 Year Love Affair and a deck of daily Intention Cards to support mental wellness in adults and children.
